How is my assessment marked?

Most are instantly marked at the time you do them and some require you to upload completed content to be marked

We make it simple for you. Each course consists of a series of topic-specific modules. These modules contain three stages:

  1. Content. These may include both interactive practice activities and graded practical assessments (Instant marking)
  2. Practice quizzes (Instant marking); and
  3. Assessment (Instant marking)

The course includes practice activities and the quiz to practice for the assessments. Once you are able to pass the practice quizzes you know you are ready for the assessments. There are no big assessments at the end of the course, you complete the course module by module.

Some courses may require the completion of two further assessments, which require marking by a trainer:

  1. Written theoretical exam; and
  2. Formal workshop assessments - which may include (but are not limited to) the submission of:
    • Audio/Video evidence
    • Written essays; and
    • Documented evidence of procedures performed

The marking process for these additional assessments will take a minimum of (20) business days to complete. Students will be notified in writing of any delays ATOL is experiencing in assessment marking due to increased marking volumes.

The assessment requirements for each course are outlined on each course page
