What is Required to Become a Hazardous Area and/or High Voltage (HV) Auditor?

This article provides information on how to satisfy the criteria to become accredited as an HV Approved Auditor. You should treat this as guidance only, as each application will be assessed on its own merits.

Before going live high voltage facilities need to be audited.

To apply to become an accredited auditor for high voltage installation under the Electrical Safety Act 2002the applicant must complete the Form 46 - Application for appointment as a hazardous area and/or high voltage accredited auditor (PDF, 0.27 MB).

The Regulator will not appoint an applicant if there is no intent to perform high voltage installation audits under the Electrical Safety Act 2002 in Queensland.
