CPD is short for Continuing/Continued Professional Development, also known as Continuing/Continued Professional Education (CPE).
CPD is often a requirement of many professions. It is continuing education as applied to professional development. This is the means by which people maintain their knowledge and skills related to their professional lives and qualifications.
